Welcome

Welcome to BioMechanix Strength & Conditioning Clinic

We are sure that you will have an enriching and enjoyable experience here in our facility.  BioMechanix is staffed with NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists (CSCS), who are considered to be among the highest level of trainers in the industry.  Each candidate must possess a Bachelor degree in kinesiology or exercise physiology prior to taking the examination, and only 40% of the candidates pass.

As a former NYC based sports medicine and fitness industry veteran, my vision is to offer a One-on-One Training Center with a higher caliber of standards, by implementing the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) guidelines for exercise testing and prescription, and the National Strength and Conditioning Association’s (NSCA) guidelines for strength training. We perform comprehensive fitness evaluations to create structurally sound fitness programs, and teach our clients proper lifting mechanics.  Here at BioMechanix, we put an emphasis on proper lifting technique, hence our name.

We feature the latest state of the art, Hoist ROC-IT plate loaded exercise equipment line using ROX technology.  The ROC-IT line embodies a unique training experience that achieves unrestricted joint movement and the core-activating benefits of functional training, coupled with the stabilizing benefits of machine strength training equipment.  All based on the “5 point contact principle” which is a concept emphasized by all CSCS professionals. Try it out for yourself and experience the ride of the ROC-IT line!

Another feature in our facility is the Hoist Multi 12, modular station, known here as the “Transformer.”  Many of the stations on this machine have dual functions and take notice of the other great machinery and fitness equipment we have to work with, such as the Matrix KRANK cycle.

While you are here, we do ask that you comply with our facility guidelines in order to make BioMechanix a great experience for everyone.

WELCOME TO THE MACHINE!

Jon J. Torerk, CSCS
CEO and Founder of BioMechanix
